About the Doctors

Dr. James Bickler

Dr. James Bickler received his D.M.D. and completed his residency in orthodontics at Oregon Health Sciences University. He has been in practice for 24 years and lectures to the public on a daily basis.

Dr. Bickler is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and the Mid-Columbia Dental Society. He enjoys ski racing, hunting, fishing and golf in his spare time.

Dr. Bickler and his wife have been married for 26 years and have two daughters. They have lived in Hood River for 24 years.

Dr. James West

Dr. James West has been practicing in the dental field for 13 years. He completed a general practice residency at Berkshire Medical Center and earned his dental degree from State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. West received additional training in orthodontics at Oregon Health Sciences University.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Mid-Columbia Dental Society and the Oregon State Society of Orthodontics.

Away from the office, Dr. West contributes time and resources to the local Rotary Club. A triathlete, he also enjoys skiing, biking and windsurfing.
